"Cubic Capacity"
Pressurisation Cubes:
Losing your puff? Get hard with WSPD's
Cubic Capacity blowing aids, and put the "grunt" back into your piping! If you can't keep it up, be sure to drop a Cubic Capacity
pressurisation cube down your tenor stock next time you're at "Point A"
and blow some tone "Wellington Scottish-style"! Here's what the Pro's are saying
about WSPD's Cubic Capacity pressurisation cubes...
"I could never get even pressure, and I always
struggled. But with Cubic Capacity now my pipes just seem to play themsevles."
- PM Will Billington, 3 time bronze clasp winner, Invervary
"As a Pipe Major of an ambitious band, saggy bags
were the bane of my life - I could never get a constant tone from my players. But Cubic
Capacity pressurisation cubes have simply transformed our playing - Thanks
Wellington Scottish... Grade IV here we come!"
- PM Seumas McSponge,
Hammersmith Highlanders
So how do Cubic Capacity pressurisation cubes
actually work? They react with the moisture naturally found in your pipe bag producing a
controlled and sustained chemical reaction that releases inert and completely safe
gases* for at least 20 minutes - boosting the pressure in your bag and giving you
improved stamina and faster start-ups.
* - See warning below
Three sizes of Cubic Capacity pressurisation cubes
(small, meduim, and large) have been specially formulated to keep the pressure in your bag
just below the level needed to strike in the drones. All you need to do is to add the last
bit of air!
Added features include:
- Mild distinfectant that cleans your bag as you play!
- Three fragrant scents - "Highland Heather",
"Flowers of the Forest", and "Portree Potpouri" - created in
consultation with leading aromatherapists for a "calming influence" whether on
the board or in the studio!
- Coloured smoke for that extra impact in displays!
Warning: Use only in strict accordance
with instructions, always under the supervision of an adult (or non-piper), and
subject to the conditions below.
- Always use in a well ventilated area.
- Not suitable for use in very small bags or excessively damp
climates where hyper-expansion may result. This can cause premature bag aging and, in
exteme cases, bag blow-outs.
- Always make sure stocks are securely tied into the bag, and
inspect hemping regularly. For added safety, install pressure safety valve.
- Never point bagpipes in an unsafe direction when using Cubic
Capacity pressurisation cubes, and under no circumstances pack as aircraft luggage
in a pressurised hold.
- Efficacy may be compromised in "dry-system" bags
such as the cannister bag. Care must be taken not to insert more cubes before previous
cubes are fully spent - Overloading can lead to uneven and difficult to control
pressure if a drop of saliva gets down the blow stick.
- Not suitable for synthetic bags as chloride residue from
chemical reaction may burn through the bag.
- Reactions with some forms of bag dressing may lead to small
quantities of smoke being emitted from drones and chanter, even with non-coloured Cubic
Capacity pressurisation cubes.
- Not to be taken internally.
